Thank you for your continued support and interest in our Diagnostic Medical Sonography program! We are thrilled to share some ongoing updates with you:

Program Reopening: We are excited to welcome a new cohort of DMS students in Fall 2025! The application window will open in early May. Additional information will be shared in Winter quarter.

Information Sessions: In-person information sessions will begin in Winter quarter and will be offered twice monthly.

Website Updates: The DMS website will be updated during the next few months. Please check back frequently for additional program details, including: curriculum maps, application scoring rubrics, information session dates, and more!

DMS Lab: We completed our lab upgrades, and look forward to a new, robust hands-on learning experience for DMS students.

The Careers

Radiologic Technologist or Technician

Take x-rays and CAT scans for diagnostic or research purposes.

Diagnostic Medical Sonographers

Produce ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians.

Radiologists

Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries using medical imaging techniques, such as x rays, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, and ultrasounds.

MRI Technologist

Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners. Monitor patient safety and comfort, and view images of area being scanned to ensure quality of pictures.
