Meeting Your World Language Needs

Students will acquire global and intercultural knowledge from multiple disciplinary perspectives, develop intercultural communication skills, and apply growing knowledge to make ethical and positive contributions to local and global communities. TCC offers courses in Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish.

Knowledge of one or more foreign languages greatly enhances employability in industries like social services, health and medical services, business and trade, travel, the legal profession, or law enforcement. TCC's world language program enables students to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in a variety of languages and prepares graduate for successful transfer to a four-year university.
