"At the beginning of every quarter, something happened. My dad had a heart attack the month before I started my program, I had a baby when I started, I had him [the baby she is holding] a month ago, and so many other things with family members — it really felt like I was being tested every single quarter. But I knew I was on the right path. Now, for the first time, I really feel accomplished in life."
