About Me:
Greetings! I am thrilled to begin my journey here at Tacoma Community College as the Director of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program. I have been working in ultrasound since 2018, gaining experience in a variety of settings, from teaching hospitals to private practices and rural community hospitals. I hold registrations in Cardiac, Vascular, Abdomen, and OB/GYN sonography from ARDMS, which has allowed me to broaden my expertise.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring students in the clinical environment, and I find great joy in guiding the next generation of sonographers. This passion led me to pursue a full-time role in education, and I am excited to share my knowledge with students here at TCC.

I hold an associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Sciences, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management.

Outside of work, I am a proud wife and mother. My husband and I have been married for 12 years, and we have two wonderful children: a 10-year-old daughter who is a competitive gymnast and a 4-year-old son who is beginning to explore wrestling and jujitsu. We are always on the go, whether we’re traveling to gymnastics meets or cheering on our son as he embarks on his athletic journey. Our family is completed by three dogs: Roman, our German Shepherd; Piper, our Great Dane; and Lola, our Toy Fox Terrier. They certainly keep us busy and bring a lot of joy to our lives!

I look forward to getting to know everyone and contributing to the growth and success of our DMS program here at TCC.
