Dr. Andrew Brottlund taught in the Writing Studies and Adult Basic Education programs at Tacoma Community College from 2015-2025. He is currently serving as director of the Basic Education for Adults program. He holds a Master of Arts degree in English, a Master of Education degree in leadership in higher education, and a Doctor of Education degree in educational leadership. As a graduate of a community college, he is passionate about the learning and opportunities community colleges provide, and his professional philosophy centers around service to others.
