Do I qualify for Workforce Funding?

You may qualify if you...

  • Collecting or have collected unemployment benefits in the past four years (apply for unemployment benefits here).
  • Receiving Basic Food or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) assistance (apply for basic food or TANF assistance here).
  • Unemployed or underemployed after having been dependent on another family member’s income, but no longer supported by that income due to separation, divorce, death, or permanent disability of the main wage-earner.
  • Formerly self-employed and currently unemployed due to general economic conditions.
  • Worker at risk of unemployment without upgrading skills.
  • Unemployed veteran discharged within the past four years or active-duty military with separation notice.
  • Meet low income guideline.

Each Workforce Education grant has its own specific criteria and requirements. Funding may cover tuition, books, and fees.
