Jazz Band

The Jazz Band is a full performing ensemble composed of both student and community musicians. There are weekly rehearsals and at least one performance every quarter. The Jazz Band primarily uses saxophones, trombones, trumpets, piano, bass, and drum set, with the potential inclusion of other instruments depending on the selected repertoire. Participants are expected to have fundamental skills in their instrument technique, be able to read standard music notation, and must audition prior to registration.
