Building 13 Lower Entrance Closed Starting April 1

The southwest (lower) entrance to the Building 13 Harned Center for Health Careers will be closed April 1 – mid-August 2024 due to the construction of a new Emergency Medical Services (EMS) lab. The new addition to Building 13 will house the TCC ambulance and an adjacent lab, providing an enhanced experience for EMS students.

Impacts

  • The southwest (lower) entrance to Building 13 will be closed to general access during construction of the new EMS lab. The entrance will remain accessible as an emergency entrance and exit.
  • A temporary fence will be placed around the construction site, restricting access to the landscaped area in front of the southwest entrance and to some the parking spots in front of the building.
  • Pedestrian routes around the fence will be available.
  • An additional ADA parking space will be added northwest of Building 15. Many existing ADA spaces are also available to the west and south of the building.
