Policy
A student who audits a course for no credit pays full tuition and fees. Auditors may participate in course work and must meet attendance requirements. If attendance requirements for the course are met, an “N” grade will be recorded; if not, a “W” will be recorded. Neither grade is computed in the grade point average. A student may not convert from audit to credit or from credit to audit after the 30th calendar day of the quarter.
Purpose
The course audit option allows a student to participate in a course without having credit or a grade posted to his or her transcript.
To Whom Does This Policy Apply
All individuals registered for classes at Tacoma Community College.
