The TCC Foundation created an Employee Emergency Fund in April 2020 to provide grants of up to $500 to individual employees facing financial hardship during Covid-19. The Foundation has distributed $28,599.
The TCC Foundation established the Employee Emergency Fund to assist TCC employees with emergency funds due to financial need. The TCC Foundation board of directors approved the fund at a special meeting with an initial amount of $15,000. The Board later approved an additional $10,000 toward the fund.
Our employee community quickly responded to this fund. More than 60 employees have applied for and received emergency funds to date. This response really does show that there is a need, and we are creating the opportunity for TCC employees to support our fellow team members during this challenging time.
