OSE Position: Health and Wellness
What are you going to school for? I'm going for my general AA right now, I'm still undecided on my major.
What do you want to achieve as an Office of Student Engagement member this year? I want to branch out as much as I possibly can, grow as an individual and as a team, submerge myself into unfamiliar situations and broaden my horizons.
What made you decide to become a TCC student? I was originally supposed to go to Highline (yeah I know) but decided to make the switch because I really liked the campus, I love being in Tacoma and I knew that being a TCC student was going to be an experience I wouldn't regret.
What advice do you have for new students starting at TCC this year? Come in with an open mind. You never know who you can meet and what can happen when you keep your horizons open! It never hurts to network, get involved on campus or use one of the many resources when unsure of anything.
What is one thing you want TCC students to know about you that you feel will help them understand you better? Looks can be deceiving y'all! I may have a resting mean face and monotone voice but that doesn't mean I don't like talking to people. Come say hi and get to know me.
If you could be any character from a childhood fairytale, book, movie, or TV show; who would you be and why? I'd be a Spy Kid for sure. Traveling all around the world while fighting villains and trying out new spy gear sounds dope. I am still waiting for that microwave to pop out in real life (only the real ones know what I'm talking about).
You’re at a make-your-own sundae bar. Which toppings do you choose? Strawberries, black berries, kiwis, pineapples, some granola and most importantly cheesecake bites (if you know, you know).
If you could have any super power what would it be and why? Telekinesis/transporting.
- I could control anything and everything without having to lift a finger all by my mind. And I know y'all seen Carrie, what a queen (ugh her mind).
- Being able to go wherever I wanted to in the world within a matter of seconds sounds absolutely cost efficient and impeccable. If I want some ratatouille from my dude Remy in France all I got to do is snap my fingers and I'm there.
